🎓 The Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) invites 10th and 11th-grade students to participate in the Olympiad, which provides an opportunity for admission to budget places at a leading university in Russia.
The Olympiad is held in Russian and consists of two stages:
- The first round (qualifying) is conducted online and consists of test tasks.
- The second round (in-person or remote) will require personal or remote attendance.
📚 Participants will demonstrate their proficiency in Russian and English, as well as their general knowledge in disciplines such as geography, world history, and international relations.
📌 The Olympiad is held by MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia for the third time. In the first two years, more than 4,000 foreign schoolchildren participated in the Olympiad, and dozens of them are now studying at the University.
➡️ In 2024/2025, schoolchildren who are citizens of the CIS countries, as well as from Mongolia, India, Serbia, and African countries can participate in the Competition.
🥇 Winners of the Olympiad, by decision of the Rectorate of the University, will be given the opportunity to study free of charge at MGIMO under the Russian-language or English-language bachelor's degree programs, and prize-winners will have the opportunity to enter the University on a priority basis based on a portfolio competition on-site with tuition fees.
✅ Registration for the Competition is open from September 23 to November 24, 2024, on the website int-olymp-mgimo.com. The Olympiad is held in two stages in a convenient remote format.
