The National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) invites foreign school students to participate in the annual International Youth Olympiad. The competition is free of charge and conducted in Russian, offering participants an opportunity to secure spots in one of Russia’s top universities.
The Olympiad is open to foreign citizens and stateless individuals who are:
- Students in grades 10–11 or 11–12 (for 12-year education systems)
- Vocational school students (СПО)
- Graduates up to 25 years old
Winners will receive free admission to HSE, while prize-winners can earn grants of up to 75% of the tuition fees. Participants can choose up to 7 out of 16 subject areas. Diplomas are valid for 2 years, giving flexibility to pursue further education.
