International students from around the globe are invited to participate in the Winter University of Engineering Studies, an exceptional educational program taking place from November 25 to December 9, 2024, across three historic Russian cities: St. Petersburg, Pskov, and Veliky Novgorod.
The Winter University is set to host more than 600 engineering students from 15 countries, offering them a unique opportunity to enhance their professional competencies and collaborate on joint projects in various engineering fields. This initiative is organized by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Pskov State University, and Novgorod State University.
Educational Tracks
The program is thoughtfully divided into three specialized tracks, each hosted by one of the participating universities:
- Heavy Engineering: Conducted at Pskov State University, this track focuses on the intricacies of large-scale engineering projects and machinery.
- Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies: Hosted by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPBPU), this track delves into the rapidly evolving fields of AI and digital innovation.
- Electronics, Radio Engineering, and Communication Systems: Held at Novgorod State University (NovSU), this track covers cutting-edge developments in electronics and communication systems.
Cultural Immersion
In addition to academic advancement, participants will have the chance to experience Russian culture and history firsthand. The program includes excursions, master classes, and various cultural activities, offering international students a well-rounded experience of Russian life.
